IEEE EMB Student Club of IIT Kharagpur

Professional Development

	The IEEE EMB Student Club of IIT Kharagpur is involved in the activities dedicated for professional development of its members. In this regard, a Technical Workshop on Low Power Embedded Systems for Medical Applications was conducted on June 13-14 ,2009. The club has also joined hads with BeagleBoard.org, Phillips (India), Microsoft (India) and other such organizations for technical and managerial interactions. These collaborations will also help club members in securing internship and job opportunities. On the "IEEE Engineering the Future Day" at IIT Kharagpur the Professional Development team informed students about GOLD activities and IEEE Job Site. The GOLD webinar series for students moving from academics to industry, as well as job opportunities in bioengineering were discussed. Professional Development team is also involved in the PEER activities of the club.
